I believe since the emergence of Cryptocurrency we're in a new financial era as the monetary system is in turmoil and the big banks, Financial institutions are doing everything to make sure they still have control of the financial system. They increase interest rates to try and stop people from spending, borrowing or taking out loans. On the other hand, they normally encourage people to spend on credit cards, borrow, and take out loans and incentivize them to do these things by upping their credit scores. All these things work in their favor to keep them rich and keep everyone else poor. Cryptocurrency has been suppressed while the big Financial institutions work on how to regulate and control Cryptocurrency to their advantage. What they will be trying to do is stop the retail investor from being able to buy and hold XRP. Could we see the same thing happen with XRP as what happened with people holding Gold during the Gold back in 1933: Executive Order 6102 is an executive order signed on April 5, 1933, by US President Franklin D. Roosevelt "forbidding the hoarding of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates within the continental United States." The executive order was made under the authority of the Trading with the Enemy Act of 1917, as amended by the Emergency Banking Act in March 1933. Ref: WikiPedia
When I first took an interest in XRP it was about 11 to 18 cents. I was trading it back then. I didn't buy and hold XRP when the price was 11 to 18 cents, because I didn't have the insights into how it would increase in price. XRP went up to an all-time high of $3.84. It is now at 33 cents 02/01/2023. This is why I believe XRP will increase in value although it may take some time to increase.
Many people have become disillusioned about the prospects of making money investing in Cryptocurrencies. Personally, I would say XRP is still a good investment.
Please do your research because there are many Crypto and Stablecoins that are good investments and will increase in due time. Take a look at the following videos.
